"Life is not determined by what we want, but by the choices we make."
Hello! Welcome to My Bubble. Most of you have probably heard the expression "their own little bubble" in some variation. This blog is a reflection of mine. Just one girl's ideas, finds, responses to news stories and popular trends, recipes, life, thoughts, and opinions.

Had to Share!
budget should be balanced, the treasury should be refilled, public debt
should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and
controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed,
lest Rome become bankrupt. People must again learn to work instead of
living on public assistance." - Cicero, 55 BC
I think this is the best quote I have come across in a long time!!
The hardest thing to realize when you love someone is that no matter how much you care about them, you can't help or change them unless they want it for themselves.
What I Learned in 2011:
"Dont wait for theperfect moment. Take the moment, and make it perfect!" We control our attitude and outlook. No one else's, but we can control ours - and it makes allthe difference to our mental health.
What I Learned in 2010:
Don't ever say you would never do something...sometimes things are out of your control. You never know what situation you may find yourself in, and you don't always have the option that you want!! You may not be happy about it, but you have to make the best of it until you can change it!
Worry about you and God. If other people want to assume, condemn, or talk about you, that's between them and God.
To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven:A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;A time to kill ,and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together;a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. ~Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

Don't you just love how those Internet quizzes know you better than you know yourself?? And So They Say...
Openness: someone who is down-to-earth and prefers things to be simple and straightforwards. You might say that it just makes life easier if things don't change unnecessarily, that the arts are of no practical use to you, and that you think tradition is more important than others do. Conscientiousness: prefer to plan everything to the last detail, which has consequently led to you being very successful and extremely reliable. More than most you enjoy seeing your long-term plans come to fruition Extraversion: someone who enjoys and actively seeks out social occasions, but would say that they're not everything. You might say that sometimes it is nice to step back for a while and have a quiet night in. Agreeableness: someone who gets along with people well, especially once they have proved themselves trustworthy to you. Your responses suggest that you do have a healthy scepticism about others' motives, but that doesn't stop you from considering others to be basically honest and decent. Neuroticism: someone who is extremely difficult to upset or stress out, since you rarely, if ever, react with negative emotions, and even when you are anxious about something the feeling quickly passes. Based on your responses, you come across as very calm and resilient.
Interdependence: you need someone who reciprocates a strong feeling of attachment to a partner but who also respects and copes well with the fact that you benefit from a reasonable level of physical and psychological space at times.
Left brained people tend to be analytical, logical, rational and objective!
A Friendly Smile: You love everyone and they love you back. You are a true people person and have the smile to show it. Your smile, as well as your personality, is genuine and sweet, open and cheerful. You will often find yourself being confided in and you will never be short of friends. You are also quite optimistic and have a great sense of humor and a caring personality.
Your best quality is your sense of humor! People like you because you can find humor in any situation. You love to make people laugh. This makes you a fun person to be around.
You are very conservative around people you don't know, but if you are comfortable in a situation you REALLY know how to let loose. You consider your intelligence to be your greatest asset and are not afraid to show that to other people.
Just like a 'Snickers': You are fun to be around and have a small group of friends. You have mixed personalities but thats great because everyone wants a little of everything.
the sum of it: you enjoy life and is happy in it. you never cry and you make other people in a good mood when they're around you too.
