The IOCDF:

The link below is for the International O.C.D. Foundation. Founded in 1986 with a goal to help people with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, as well as their families. They are a non-profit organization and not only are they designed to help those with O.C.D. but also related disorders.

That is why I am writing about them, they are set up to help those with Asperger's Disorder and Autism, Body Dysmorphic Disorder, Psychotic Disorders/Schizophrenia, as well as Tourette Syndrome. This is an organization truly helping many!

http://www.ocfoundation.org/

Recently they held their 18th annual conference that per the website, "Gives people with OCD, their families, researchers and treatment providers the chance to share their personal experiences and learn beside one another during more than 100 presentations."
They also address the topic of Behavior Therapy Training, (

Sentencing of Anthony Sowell

Cuyahoga County Judge Dick Ambrose upheld the jury's recommendation today and sentenced convicted serial killer Anthony Sowell to death. Per the article on newsnet5.com by Jen Steer, (http://www.newsnet5.com/dpp/news/crime/bodies_found/Judge-upholds-jurys-recommendation-sentences-Cleveland-serial-killer-Anthony-Sowell-to-death), "Sowell sat with his eyes closed during Friday's proceedings and refused to sign a form that says he is a registered Tier III sex offender." The article also mentions how Sowell was playing video games while the police were dragging the bodies from his house. The level of lack of remorse from this man is actually not surprising given the day we live in. He did however, offer an apology in hopes of avoiding the death penalty. an apology that wisely the judge did not take into consideration.

Judge Ambrose scheduled the execution date on the three-year anniversary of when the bodies were found.

Shark Week - Monday Night

1.) It was irritating how they were trying to make it sound like the author of JAWS was so remorseful after the first one b/c ppl thought all sharks were bad... blah, blah, blah – HELLO, he made 3 more movies people!!

2.) I still laugh at the commercial with the guy hiding behind the fake fin.

3.) I’m not convinced, rogue sharks exist…and they tricked me! I thought the whole point of the show was to back that theory, then they flipped it in the last 20 minutes and said that “there is no evidence to back the rogue shark theory” WHATEVER yes there is!

THE WHOLE SHARK WEEK IS A SHAM, THEY MAKE IT SOUND VIOLENT, EXCITING, DARK, AND LIKE THE SHARKS ARE EVIL,….THEN WHEN YOU WATCH, THEY WANT YOU TO BELIEVE SHARKS ARE OUR FRIENDS.

If I wanted to think that, I would watch Finding Nemo. I want to see some demented, human flesh eating sharks if that’s what they are making the hype about!
